Ms. Gaestel will partner with Navy master artisans and skilled engineers as they work to support and maintain the U.S. fleet of helicopter and rotor aircraft.
Working with a mentor, Bill Fortney, Director of NC State Engineering at Craven Community College, Ms. Gaestel will share her fresh knowledge and invigorating experiences with students by creating compelling classroom lessons that align with state and national standards.
As an authority in K-12 education, she will provide insight into how workplace challenges can be incorporated into authentic classroom lessons.
