Kenan Fellows Network
Mapping Our Fellowships Across North Carolina and Virginia
Explore Our Growing Network
The Kenan Fellows Program for Teacher Leadership has placed fellows in communities across North Carolina and is expanding its reach into coastal Virginia. This interactive map shows every location where our fellowship program has made an impact.
Each pin reflects more than two decades of investing in teachers as leaders in their schools and communities. Use the map below to explore the reach of our network and see how teacher leadership is taking root across the region.
How to Search & Explore
Scope of the Map
The map depicts all of our Fellows through the most recent cohort.
Data Visualization Legend
Each dot is colored according to the number of Fellows who have come from that teacher’s school.
Interactive Profiles
Clicking on a dot will open a pop-up that provides basic information on the Fellow.
Browsing Stacked Locations
If multiple dots are stacked on top of one another, the pop-up will have an arrow near the top that will allow the viewer to go through all of the records that are stacked on top of one another.
Data Updates
Fellowship records will be updated throughout the year as additional data becomes available. This includes the addition of project titles, program descriptions, and impact metrics.
Verify Your Information
Location information should be correct for each Fellow at the time of their Fellowship. We invite alumni who find that their information is incorrect to contact us so that we can correct their records. Email Vance Kite, director, at vkite@ncsu.edu.
