Dr. Steve Hill
Dr. Steve Hill is Superintendent of Pender County Schools. He is formally the executive director of STEM East, a regional workforce education initiative with NC East Alliance. Prior to joining the Alliance, he built his career in the North Carolina Government and Education System starting in 1993. He moved within the system, eventually serving as a Secondary Education Director from July 2007 to October 2011. Before this, Hill held various lead positions, including Principal (2005-2007), Freshman Academy Administrator (2003-2005), Business/IT Instructor (2000-2003) and Public Safety Official (1993-2000). He holds degrees in business administration and education administration from Mount Olive College and East Carolina University. Steve is currently an EdD Candidate at East Carolina University.
