Mark Townley

Project Name:

Biofuels for Jets

As a member of Dr. Sederoff’s research team, Kenan Fellow Mark Townley will experience the entire process of biofuel production. His work on this cutting-edge project could lead to small scale production of algae in the classroom from which your students could extract and convert oil to run a small engine. Mr. Townley will integrate his experience into your curriculum units. Furthermore, as a Kenan Fellow Mr. Townley will be part of a growing biofuel initiative on North Carolina State University’s (NCSU) campus and beyond.
