Fueling the Future of Renewable Energy
Mr. Kaufman will partner with Dr. Penny Jeffrey of the FREEDM Systems Center at NC State University to explore sources of clean energy including “smart grid” technology, electric vehicles, wind turbines and solar panels.
Working with the FREEDM System Center’s content experts and scientists, he is working to translate his newfound knowledge into engaging lesson plans integrating science and engineering practices and cross-cutting concepts for use across North Carolina.
