Jan Schuettpelz, Durham School of the Arts science teacher and member of Durham Science Leaders, has received several grant awards, including Bright Ideas and Teacher Initiative grants, for her classroom projects. As a Kenan Fellow, she will work on her project entitled Life: From Diversity to DNA with Dr. Patricia Bowers from UNC-CH.
