Mr. Wood will join energy experts Sharene Pierce and Ashley Thompson of Duke Progress Energy to learn about the current energy supply, explore the industry’s research into alternative energy sources and develop relevant and engaging STEM lessons designed to help students understand the science behind energy production and to become more aware of potential career opportunities in the field.
