North Carolina Heritage Fellowship (Dudley Flood Center) supported by the Burroughs Wellcome Fund

ONE FELLOWSHIP AVAILABLE

The Dudley Flood Center for Educational Equity & Opportunity strives to work collaboratively to take action toward addressing issues of systemic racism by advocating for structural changes in policy and practice to build an equitable education system that meets the social, emotional, and academic needs of NC’s diverse student population. Our team works to move the mission of the Center forward through various programs and initiatives guided by the legacy of Dr. Dudley E. Flood, our Strategic Priorities, and the Equity Framework.

The immersion at the Flood Center will center on understanding the connection between historical inequities, current opportunity gaps, and strategies to move educational equity forward in our state. The Fellow will work with our programmatic and research initiatives and collaborate with equity-focused organizations across that state.
