Reading back through my posts I realized how difficult last year school year was for me. When I started this fellowship I wasn’t sure how long I was going to stay in the teaching profession. The support I received from the Kenan staff, my fellow fellows, and Biogen Idec has changed that. The professional development (formal and informal), the presentations I gave and networking opportunities surpassed my expectations and have contributed to my growth. The most change is my future outlook. I see myself staying in the classroom longer (maybe just a different school), because of this experience.
