Ms. Forbes will engage in a Fellowship project on aerial robotics supported by Lenovo, one of the top two PC makers globally. Her mentor for the project is Sam Morris who serves as the Worldwide Education Segment Executive at Lenovo.

She sponsors a FIRST robotics club at her school for students to compete at regional and state competitions. Over the last several years, she has integrated robotics into the curriculum and was awarded a $4,000 SeaPerch grant from the Office of Naval Research to be able to conduct underwater robotics activities.
