Four Kenan Fellows were honored Saturday, April 30 at the 2017 NC Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education Center awards in Raleigh.
Three Fellows are recipients of the 2017 Burroughs Wellcome Fund Career Award for Science and Mathematics Teachers. The award provides $175,000 over a five-year period as well as professional development opportunities to recipients. They join the ranks of four previous Kenan Fellows who are past winners of the prestigious career award.

Erin Lawrence 2013-14 Biogen Foundation Kenan Fellow Winner of the 2017 NC SMT Outstanding 9-16 Educator Award in Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education. She is among six other Kenan Fellows who have also received this honor. Two in the 9-16 Educator category and four in the K-8 Educator category. |
