The 2020-21 Kenan Fellows will be announced in May during National Teacher Appreciation Week.
The Fellows will spend three weeks on-site with a mentor organization where they will make connections between their classroom content and the skills and knowledge needed for students to succeed in the workplace.
Fellows receive 80 hours of professional development and a $5,000 stipend. They design and implement a capstone project during the fellowship year.
Kenan Fellows Program staff, mentors and a team of peer reviewers are in the process of reviewing applications. Finalists will be contacted for an in-person interview. All applicants will be notified of their status in April.
