An integral part of the experience of being a Kenan Fellow is the partnership between Fellows and their mentors. We are proud to announce that two of our mentors have received special recognition for their achievements.
Dr. Len Annetta, lead mentor for the Kenan Fellows HIFIVES project, received a 2008 NC State Alumni Association Outstanding Extension and Outreach Award. Dr. JoAnn Burkholder, who has mentored numerous Fellows during the last several years, received the River Network’s highest award, the James R. Compton River Achievement Award.
