< Karina Colon, a teacher at Glendale-Kenly Elementary School in Johnston County, has received a grant from the Johnston County Education Foundation. She will use the money to fund one of the lessons in the curriculum she has created as a Kenan Fellow.
Former Kenan Fellow < Matt Sears, (pictured left) Durham Public Schools Teacher of the Year, has been featured as the WRAL Teacher of the Week. Matt will be working with the incoming class of Kenan Fellows on the NSF/ GRADUATE project along with fellow alumni Kim Collazo and Chad Ogren.
