As part of the fellowship, you will: Collaborate with various industry personnel to observe innovative, automated production methods; Experience lean manufacturing practices; Learn the various safety and environmental considerations of the manufacturing process; and Select a specific area of interest and develop relevant and engaging STEM lessons designed to help students understand the science behind environmentally responsible production methods and to become more aware of opportunities and needs in the field.
